Date with Linda! :)

For Linda's and my date we went to in and out, driving, painted pine cones, modge podged picture frames, made awesome magnets, and hung out in the craft store! It was so much fun! When we went driving i learned how to parallel park! I was surprised at how good i am! Or how good i think i am, after backing into a tree in the church parking lot twice :) I think Linda was a little scared but i proved to her that i am a good driver and to let me keep driving. Then Linda and I put our creative minds together and made cut little magnets, modge podged picture frames, and painted pine cones! They all turned out great! For the picture frames we had 2 picture frames 1 was going to be a dry erase board where you write on the glass and the 2nd is a magnet board to put our lovely magnets on :) My date with Linda was so much fun and i cant wait to do it again!!

The Formal

On April 10th was my first dance! It was so much fun! It was a church set up dance, and so much work was put into it! Here's how it goes, If you didnt get asked to it and you wanted to you could sign up for this thing called "Going Blind", or if you just wanted to take a risk and meet someone new ( like me) then you just sign up for it over the internet. Well when you sign up for this the stake leaders look up young men your age from all over Vegas and they make sure that you are compatible with this young man. Then you choose a family's house to eat at. Our dinner provider was The Larkins. A couple of weeks later you get a email from the stake leaders telling you who your date is and it says that he should be calling you soon. My date was Tasi Hannemann. I of course got on facebook and looked him up :) Lets just say he Blew my mind! Holy cow! Then he called me, we talked, and then he had to go. So then we would text a little but not alot. Hey it was enough for me :) On April 10 i went and picked up the boutonniere, it was so pretty i wish i got a better picture of it. sorry. He came and picked me up and we went to dinner. The dinner was amazing even though both of us weren't hungry at all! We then went to the dance and had a blast. There was a live band and they sang really good songs! And then sadly the night ended. But we promised to hang out again!
